VOD Streaming from AWS WOWZA EC2 Instance (JW Player 6)

Hi,

We have some videos that we have uploaded to an S3 bucket in AWS and we also have a WOWZA EC2 Instance running in AWS. We are able to play the videos with JW Player 6 using RTMP as shown below but we can’t get them to play using HTTP:// or HTTPS://

Is there a way that I can do this using the WOWZA Instance?

I think you need the MediaCache AddOn to stream from S3 to Wowza:

There are settings specific to S3 documented and in place in the MediaCache.xml file

Thanks salvadore, I’ll look into that. It is currently streaming from S3 using RTMP though.
