Video On Demand file from HTTP Rest API

Hi,

we wish to implement Wowza in our application because we need to implement some Video On Demand features.

We will need to play some multimedia files which could be taken from our HTTP RESTful API using a GET request.

I know Wowza can get VOD files from local storage and from Amazon S3.

Could it also get the files from a custom HTTP RESTful API?

Hi @Mattia Martinello; maybe a Media Cache Source will work for you? Or else you may need a custom module / plug-in for that. Make sure that the API can serve the files fast enough!
