Using RTMP protocol with SMIL file for ABR

Hello,

We are now implementing ABR in our daily stream and i have some questions.

I successfully created a Smil file with 3 streams (1080p / 720p and 360p) and i can play them with the Adobe HDS Player using the following url “http://myServerIP:1935/live/smil:MySmilFile.smil/manifest.f4m” but the problem is the latency is very high with the http protocol.

I would like to use the RTMP player with the RTMP protocol like i can do it on single streams “rtmp://myServerIP:1935/live myStream”. Is there a way to use RTMP with Smil file?

I answer to myself.

I succeed using jwplayer and the following url “http://streaming.afopi.com:1935/live/smil:chirdir.smil/jwplayer.smil”, the SMIL fil contain the rtmp parameter.
