Using one Application.xml for many applications in Wowza Streaming Engine 4.0.0

Hi,

I have a question regarding Wowza Streaming Engine 4.0.0. In my current installation we have a Wowza server with a number of identical Live HTTP Origin applications, and all those applications use the same Application.xml file in the root of conf folder, because this solution proved to be the most convenient for our case. As we’re looking to upgrade to the latest Wowza version, my question is, will such configuration be possible under Wowza Streaming Engine?

Yes this should be possible under the new version in the same manner you did in previous versions.

Hi,

What should be the name of the application then? Can it be left blank? In 3.6.3 there was no field for the application name.
