Test player stream not working on the Wowza web manager

Hi there,

Have just completed my first install. However when I try to play (VOD application) in Wowza Test Players it says ‘playing’ in the bottom of the player but … no stream (black screen).

Wowza Streaming Engine were installed for Windows on Azure. I can access the Wowza server by entering [wowza-ip]:1935 in a browser.

I am putting the following in the Test Player MPEG_DASH:

http://[wowza-ip]:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4/manifest.mpd

When i click start it shows playing in the bottom but black screen appears.

Are you able to play the stream in another DASH player? Something like the bitmovin player.

Which browser are you using when testing MPEG-DASH playback in the Wowza Engine Manager Test Player?
