Synchronize loadbalanced segmeters

Hi there

I have two servers with wowza streaming engine installed. They are restreaming and segmenting icecast-audiostreams for HLS and HDS.

I’d like to cache this content with a reverse-proxy (nginx). In order to do that, the segments and stream must be in sync on both servers. Is there a possibilty to do that?

If no, is there a way to name my segments by timestamp, not with an incrementing numer or randomly as described in your docs?

Hi Chris,

Yes, you can set cupertinoCalculateChunkIDBasedOnTimecode Property in the Application.xml /LiveStreamPacketizer Properties container:

Does this work for audio-only streams as well?
