error.log
WARN server comment 2011-12-19 16:30:06 - - - - - 93.367 - - - - - - - - RTPSessionDescriptionDataProviderBasic.getStreamIn fo: RTSP/RTP re-streaming timeout.
VLC does in fact receive the stream.
What i found later, my cam streams data in [VIDEO] - MPEG4 - Video (mp4v) format, which is not supported by wowza.
I thought Wowza should throw some format-specific error message in case of unsopported data format… But it just says “RTPSessionDescriptionDataProviderBasic.getStreamIn fo: RTSP/RTP re-streaming timeout.”
The question:
Does the “RTPSessionDescriptionDataProviderBasic.getStreamIn fo: RTSP/RTP re-streaming timeout.” error mean that the problem is definitely with the unsupported codec? Or something else might be a cause?
Would be nice to check it with another cam, but i dont have one…
