Recorded livestream mp4 files does not include audio

Hey,

I just setup the recording of a livestream in the Wowza Streaming Engine Manager.

If I record the Stream as flv file there is audio in it, but if I choose the mp4 format the audio is just not included.

I tried it several times, there is just no audio in the mp4 files.

What can I try to fix that? Thanks for your help.

Hello there.

It sounds like you are using an unsupported audio codec like Speex or NellyMoser?

The mp4 container supports mp3 or AAC audio codecs.
