Reach load balancer via Host Name

Hello, I’m trying to use wowza load balancer via Host Name, so I want to call the streaming Load balancer by its Host Name.

To do this I have set following string in my field configuration “http://hostname:1935”

With this configuration I can streaming file but through the network trace I see that the calls to load balancer are made by IP Address.

Does anyone to know if the configuration set is allowed?

Yes you can do this via the host name @Lorenzo Lamedica, as long as you have a dns entry that corresponds to the correct ip.
