Hi

I am Useing push publish to push from one wowza server to onther

in the first server i use StreamType “live” and use StreamManager to start streams.

every day i get the fallowing errors and are forced to restart the server

all the servers are wowza 4.0.1

any advice?

Hi,

It looks like the Push Publishing addon running on your first server is not able to connect to the application running on your second server.

Can you please post the line from your PushPublishMap.txt file with the connection settings for publishing the stream to your second Wowza server?

Hello, I suggest removing StreamManager from your workflow. StreamManager is used for rtp, shoutcast or liverepeater streams, so it is not necessary for this situation.

The error you are seeing indicates that Wowza is unable to make a TCP connection to the Wowza Server on the other side. So it is some sort of communication problem. This would be the place to start troubleshooting.

Yes, if you are using VLC as an MPEG-TS encoder, you would follow this mpeg-ts guide to re-stream, which involves StreamManager or StartUpStreams.xml. The Wowza 4 Manager will add a .stream to StartUpStreams.xml or startup streams. The old StreamManager still exists too.

I have 24 row’s 1 for each stream (the Asterisk does not work ).

I push them to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx server to application live.

it happens every couple of days. then i have to restart my app in the first server
