Origin/Edge Installation with one transcoder

Hi,

i have the following setup:

1x Origin with transcoding (liveorigin)

3x Edge without transcoding (liveedge)

Origin/edge configuration is working fine. I would however like to save some bucks and somehow use those already transcoded streams including loadbalancing and adaptive straming…

I already found out that getting “http://origin.server/application/definst/ngrp:stream_group/medialist.smil” might be the place to digg…

Is there a tut/manual around for that purpose? If not… how often do I need to fetch the file? Where do I need to place it? And does it work with loadbalancing?
