No EC2 AMI for Frankfurt? (eu-central-1)

Hi,

AWS recently opened their new datacenter in Germany, offering EC2 instances. http://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/aws-region-germany/

From our location the latency is way better compared to the eu-west-1 region.

Unfortunately at the moment there are no pre-built Wowza AMIs for Frankfurt availableā€¦can we expect to get images to use with eu-central-1 and if so, when? :slight_smile:

Hi,

There arenā€™t any specific plans, but I will bring this subject up with our product management team, who may decide. No promises or timelines available though.

Thanks, thatā€™d be great. AWS Frankfurt has a much lower latency for our target audience and we would really like to prefer the location in Germany over Ireland for our live streamings.

Http origin" using Wowza Engine Manager, the property ā€œrandomizeMediaNameā€ is still true (so weird). After I manually changed it to false the output media list contains no random sequence any more. ???
