Hey Everyone,
I would like to know if there a way to measure the bytes out of each camera individually; if is there any record about that information. For example, if I have two cameras streaming how to know which uses more bytes out. I saw that in Wowza Streaming Engine Console has a graph, but it counts all bytes of all cameras in total.
Hello there,
This is done in WSEM, it’s just a live stream so navigate to “Applications > live > Incoming Streams > StreamName” If it’s an IP camera StreamName will be [something].stream.
You will get the following info:
Stream Uptime
myTestStream up since 24 Oct 2014 03:32:19 PM
myTestStream up for about a few seconds
Network Throughput
Bytes In: 3499183 @ 879.220 Kbits/s
Bytes Out: 0 @ 0.000 bits/s
We don’t graph this info per stream so it’s only showing the real-time stats.
I hope this is helpful.
Salvadore
Hey Salvadore,
Thank you for reply.
Then I saw that had this information in real time via Wowza Streaming Engine Manager, but I needed to know how many bytes out a client used for a month or a day in total for example. Are bytes out recorded in somewhere for use?
Grateful already,
Guilherme.
