We are using WSE to run 24*7 video loops, and I have observed the MPD availabilityStartTime (AST) keeps updating to increase a few seconds after a few hours.
Did my research, and appears from various posts in the past, mpegdashStrictSpecComplianceForAST set to be true in the property can solve this problem.
But from the latest tests I’ve been doing, the result seems to be the same that the AST value still updated after overnight.
I’m wondering if mpegdashStrictSpecComplianceForAST is the right choice here, or if anything had changed with the newer versions of WSE.
For this particular instance, it’s running on 4.8.24+4.
