Misunderstanding creation of SMIL files from transcoder.

Hi,

I read the following tutorial.

How to create and play SMIL files with streams created by Wowza Transcoder

I see a smil file in the browser.

I don’t understand, if the HttpProvider will create smil file in the content directory?

Or I still need copy/paste.

If there is any model to create create a smil file in the directory?

Not using (Java API asmil)

That method will generate a smil file that is displayed in your browser, that you can then copy to a text file and copy around to your edge servers. You may have to modify it first, if for example you are using .stream files on the edges to point to the origin source, you will have to change the stream names.
