Missing initial 30 seconds in segmentation

We are preparing a solution for one of our customers who use the Wowza stream engine to stream and store their camera feeds.
We need to segment the stream and store it as a historical document.
We are using the trial version for testing.

We noticed in each segment we are missing almost initial 30 seconds in each segment, then we get a few frames with noise and then good quality video. what can cause this big issue and how to solve it?
Is it related to keyframe?

Did you start the stream on a keyframe in your encoder settings? Do you have it set to keyframe interval of 2 seconds?

Yes, recording will wait for a keyframe. We suggest you start with reviewing your source settings and go with a keyframe every 1 or 2 seconds.
