Minicaster and Streaming Engine v4

hello,

I have updated from 3.6.4 to v 4.0.4 .

so I’m unable to connect using Minicaster encoder, before updates working properly .

for minicaster I need put AllowEncoder properties in my config ? if yes, which properties I need put ?

Hi Steve,

Have you worked through this guide:

How to use miniCaster live stream encoder with Wowza Media Server

Also make sure you are starting the stream using StreamManager or StartupStreams.xml

hi Salvadore,

for tell the truth I use this encoder since 2012 without problem, using RTMP push like FMLE .

I have problem only now that have upgraded from 3.6.4 to v4 .

I don’t know if in v4 need allow other encoder user-agent like FMLE/FME/Wirecast for allow Minicaster,

you have some information about this ?

I don’t know why I’m unable to connect… no problem using FMLE .

solved . for Wowza v4 need Minicaster firmware 1.4.8 .
