Hi. We have an operational Wowza based webcasting system used around 25 days each year on live events. Our original implementation consultant has had to move on to other things, so we’re looking to set up an arrangement for ongoing support and development, preferably with a UK based consultant.
We are a live events video production company and we encode each event on-site using Telestream Wirecast and use JW Player on the viewers’ web page.
We have just one minor issue at present which involves Internet Explorer users losing the video stream after 90 seconds. The stream is fine (for another 90 seconds) if the user refreshes the page! Firefox and Chrome users have no such issues.
Moving forward, we’d like to add statistical reporting to our system so we can see how many viewers we have on each stream and roughly where they are based. At present the max number of streams that we run simultaneously is around 4, with up to 300 viewers on each stream.
