Hello,
I am developing a LIVE streaming with Wowza. I just downloaded and install Wowza last week.
Now, I can watch LIVE video via web here http://www.bethanytv.tv
But I try to watch via iPhone, it just shows a black screen, even after 1 minute.

At the moment I stream using Adobe Flash Media Encoder 3.2 using a PC. I tried using Wirecast also does not help.
What is my mistake here? I need to watch this live stream via iPhone. Please help. Thank you for your help.
Hi century70,
For mp3 to iPhone use 44.1kHz @ 128kbps stereo. Also, I have read that the Mainconcept AAC plugin for FMLE works well for streaming to iPhone.
The problem is most likely the time limits on live HLS streaming in the developer license, which you are using. You can get an eval license from http://wowza.com/eval.php that does not have this limit.

From the FMLE docs http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashMediaEncoder/2.5/index.html:
"On the Audio side of the Encoding Options tabbed panel, configure any of the following encoding settings:
Sample Rate
Specifies the audio sample rate, as determined by the audio format and sample rate that you select.
Bit rate
Specifies the audio bit rate in Kbps, as determined by the audio format and sample rate that you select."

Hello Randall,
Thank you for your reply. In FMLE I use, MP3, Stereo, 22050 Hz, 56 Kbps.
How and where to configure for “44.1kHz @ 128kbps stereo”? In FMLE? In which menu/button?
I’m really stuck here. Please help. Thank you!

I have tried with “44.1kHz @ 128kbps stereo” with MP3, but still no luck.
In server log I can see:
SanJosePacketHandler.handlePacket[live/definst/200]: Timecode out of order [video]: 34903366:51680582
CupertinoPacketHandler.handlePacket[live/definst/200]: Timecode out of order [video]: 34903366:51680582
HTTPStreamerAdapterCupertinoStreaming.getAppInstan ce: Stream not found [live/200/playlist.m3u8?wowzasessionid=1377013254]: 200
What this means? Thanks.
