live streaming in Codeigniter Php ?

Hi i am a php developer , i want a live streaming in my website for users , my project is based on Codeigniter (Php framework) , i read your document but its too much confusing where to start if i have php based website , also the example code given isn’t working . i have installed the server setup on local and it’s working but same question i am confused where to start ? Please guide or is there any sample code available in php ?
