Where in the GUI is the configuration for latency on the wowza SRT caller ? I believe this needs to be configured 4x the RTT to the receiver to hopefully keep a stable connection ?
Hi @Daniel Rossi, nice to see you using our forums so often- we appreciate you being an active part of our community.
You can change the default settings if you wish here for a “stream file” and SRT.

I do believe that it is the recovery buffer setting in Wowza Streaming Engine is what you looking for between the server instances over satellite feed. This is the same as the Latency value on the Haivision.
Right. So SRT is purely only for links over stable low latency connections right ? I was hoping to test it for live ingest also when OBS has support for it.
I’ve been testing a non real world test, the latency is cross contintent to a receiver. However the HLS / RTMP stream from this server is fine.
The application is server to 24/7 embedded PI receivers using gstreamer, not server to server.
I had them set the recovery buffer to something extreme like 2000, but it seems the latency is far too great RTT is 800ms.
Audio cutting out every 10 seconds and blocky picture but will clear up regularly ?? I guess there is nothing I can do there to improve that with settings ?
I have to get someone closer to test if their receiver picture is clearer.
