Is it possible to add different overlay for each client?

Hi,

is there any way to add different text overlays on each outgoing video stream? E.g. what if I wanted to display the IP address of the client on the video? It is just an example of course. I know it might be significant CPU work, but let’s suppose this is available. Any ideas are welcome.

Hello,

It would be possible to add a different overlay image for each publishing client, not playback client.

You could configure a different transcoding template for each stream that gets published on your Wowza server application, having each transcoding template use a different overlay image.

Thanks, unfortunately I am interested in the per client one, but admit that it’s something hard.
