Hi, I’ve decided in the future to create a site that uses your app, but I want to ask some things about it. I want to make a site for streaming movies and music. The site will be created based on Joomla. Have some integration with Joomla and your player can keep subtitles? I also want to ask if I can protect myself from downloading audio and video content?
Why the ingeration within joomla? If you want to integrate wowza in your site (cms system), thats up to you. Wowza doesnt support that part. If you want to run/organize your data within joomla, you probably have to build a component or module for that.
The app (GoCoder) is connected to your own StreamingServer, so whats your idea about integration the app in your site?
or build a separate site without joomla. All you need is a database to store user, stream data, some web/file storage where your files are located. and a decent webplayer (jwplayer, videojs, flowplayer, etc. (i dont use the wowza player, so no experience on that performance)
I don;t understand the downloading protection from yourself? You mean unauthorized access to the streams themselves? if so this article might give some insight:
