Hallo.
I have trouble to install StreamLock certificate for my WowzaStreaming Engine.
The port 443 is used by Nginx.
I read that also port 1935 can be used.
In the Wowza Streaming Engine Manager, I can change the settings for the “default vhost” under Virtual Host Setup.
There I enter for the port 1935 “SSL / StreamLock Enabled”.
How do I have to edit the VHost.xml in the directory “conf”?
There is only one configuration for port 443.
Maybe someone can give me some information.
Greetings Sonia

Solved or not?
Im looking for solution of this…
It is possible to have port 1935 as an SSL port. Obviously 443 is more common and doesn’t need to have any port specified in the streaming URL but if you require 1935 to only be over SSL then there’s no reason for it not to work. If you configure any port other than 443 as secure (for example, port 1935), the client must specify the port in the URI.
Probably the easiest way to set it up is via the Engine Manager / Virtual Host Setup / Host Ports.
You can also edit [install-dir]/conf/VHost.xml and change the port there (a restart of Wowza would then be required).
See page 55 of the Engine Guide for specific examples of how to edit and add a new host port in the VHost.xml
