Can Wowza take RTSP over TLS(SSL) as inbound stream ?

Hi,

I personally have not tried this, however it may work as the SSL configuration of the socket is a lower level configuration to the application.

If you have not done so already, it could be worth enabling SSL and publishing the stream to Wowza.

Please let us know how you get on once you’ve tried it.

Hi,

Iam in the same situation. I have a “rtsps” url that works over TLS. I want that to be added as an incoming stream to wowza streaming engine. But the stream addition page shows only allowed protocols to be “rtsp,rtmp,rtmps,wowz,wowzs,http”… What do I have to do to make it allow “rtsps” and work with it.
