I can't watch the HLS on the iPhone or iPad

Hi,

I received an RTMP stream by Wowza Streaming Engine,I can watch it on the mac or android by his url.but when I start it on my iPhone or pad,it can’t be successful,here is my log :

First of all, can you confirm the stream source is “live” and that it has cupertino packetization enabled?

Next, what are the audio/video codecs of the source? As well as the “profile” setting?

just curious, since you are running this on a local address, are your ios devices connected to local wifi?

Hello,

To check if Cupertino Packetization is enabled: Please select a browser and input http://[wowza-ip-address]:8088

Application, select the Application you are using, Setup> Edit> Playback types “Apple HLS” Save> Restart Application

If those devices are not on the same network, you will need to setup port forwarding in your router to your Wowza Server.

Also posting the codecs and profile you are using for your source, along with the error you are seeing when playing back the streams in iPhone/iPad will be helpful.
