HTML5 player for Windows

Hi,

We currently use a customised version of the OSMF Strobe Media Player that delivers both HLS and HDS streams to browsers on Windows, OSX, Android, i-Phone and i-Pad. The player works by trying HLS first and then falling back to HDS (Flash) if HLS doesn’t work.

We would like to move away from the use of Flash and use HTML 5 instead since all the major Windows browsers now support HTML 5, but the Wowza documentation says that HTML 5 is only supported via HLS on OSX and Safari browser. Is there any plan to support HTML 5 in IE, Firefox, Chrome or Opera on Windows OS?

Regards

Peter
