how to use ffmpeg as transcoding and wowza as streaming ?

Hello everyone,

for couple of days I’m trying to get a live stream, having the following architecture:

source stream: is a h.264 video and MPEG1 multicast

as a transcoding I want to use ffmpeg, that is placed on a virtual machine.

as a streaming server I want to use Wowza (wowza it is placed on a different machine then ffmpeg).

I was doing some research on internet, but i wasn’t able to find some clear tutorial. I have some experience with wowza, but I’am totally noob on ffmpeg.
