If you use an embedded player, such as JW Player that will allow

desktop playback and when mobile devices hit the page, they can fallback to given HLS or RTSP URLs

Hi,

The JW Player article here, has some examples.

The example you’ll be interested in is the second example “Simple RTMP and Apple HLS streaming”

That includes streams for RTMP desktop playback, and a fallback HLS for iOS devices and

most modern Android devices. The RTSP URL included is for fallback when older Android devices

can’t use HLS. If you embed a JW PLayer, then that example code should get you where you need to be.
