HLS: Stream not found

I’m getting this intermittently:

HTTPStreamerAdapterCupertinoStreamer.onPlaylist: Stream not found [us-ext01/ngrp:PVI_1.stream_all/chunklist_b976060.m3u8]: PVI_1.stream_360p

My source feed is a broadcast grade encoder that is taking an HDMI 720p input and converting it to an RTP (or UDP) stream at ~3Mbps. We are pushing from that encoder to a Wowza server in AWS that is a c4.2xlarge. We have around 150Mb of upload bandwidth from the encoder to the internet.

I can’t even watch the HLS stream being output from the Wowza server for an hour without getting an error. The Wowza server recovers on its own within a minute or so, but by then the play has timed out and needs to have the stream restarted to resume viewing.

We are running 4.3.0 (build 16025) of the Wowza server.

I think this is related to our encoder. I’m working with them.
