GeoLocation based redirection for VOD streaming

Hi,

I’m new to Wowza. Assuming I have 2 mirrored origins (1 in US and one in EU) , is there a feature that can be used together with GeoLocation so that when a flash client establishes a connection to the server in US for example, if the IP of the client is in EU, the server would ‘forward’ the request to the origin server in EU instead of playing the stream from US server?

Hi,

Wowza does not provide any optimization capabilities for routing based on geographical location.
