Generating thumbnails for live streams

Hello, I want wowza to generate thumbnails for live streams that are happening now, and recorded videos. Is that possible , I’m using Wowza 2.2.3.

With Wowza Media Server 3 and Wowza Transcoder there is an HTTP Provider to capture a thumbnail image. For more information see this article. It’s a free upgrade from Wowza Media Server 2 to 3.
