Error 1009 in the Strobe Media Player during playback.

I have used Wowza (nDVR) to capture a video.

In some cases, I get “Stream not found” - error 1009 on the Strobe player provided by Wowza’s examples.

I tried to playback the same video on other players (Apple iOS) and did not find this issue.

please let me know how this can be resolved

Hi div,

Not much to go on here. Can you provide a little more detail about your setup?

Can you describe your encoding of the video you are capturing?

What is the server and stream name you are using in your OSMF (Strobe) player?

You can try in a different player, and in the various players in the Wowza examples folder, to try to narrow down the problem.

You’ll have to provide more info:

  1. What is your video encoding? What I mean is like this: Video: H.264 baseline profile, level 3.0, 15fps, keyframe interval of 2sec. Audio: AAC, stereo, 44.1khz, 128kbps. If you told me this, then maybe I could identify a problem with your encoding.

  2. What stream name are you typing in your player? For example, in the Wowza OSMF example you could have RTMP, or HTTP. All you said is “OSMF”. You did not tell me the server/stream name you are using, as I had asked.

I am testing sending our a stream using envivio to wowza (nDVR).

I provide a user defined recording name. I have followed this tutorial to set things up (nDVR recording API)

The recording seems to be alright. On OSMF player, the issue occurs when I playback.

I do not face this issue in Silverlight and Apple. Its only occuring on OSMF.

There should be a dev build later today (I’ll provide a link once the patch is complete) with an updated DVR OSMF example, as well as some changes to core Wowza to work a bit better with OSMF 1.6.

Try that, and if it does not solve your problem, please send to support@wowza.com your conf/ and log/ zipped up, describe the behavior in more detail (does it never play… does it play a while and then stop…does it throw that error only under certain conditions), and reference this thread.

Here’s the patch:

Besides the lib/ bin/ changes, note there are changes to the DVR example-- both the html and the swf file (which is now OSMF 1.6)
