encrypt the files using AES-128 encryption

so services like zencoder advertize “we encrypt files using AES-128 encryption”

if i am using wowza is that built in or somehow available?

There are two methods of AES encryption, which is used for cupertinostreaming to iOS devices only.

Also, take a look at this flat view of all Wowza articles, tutorials and examples:

Right, I don’t think so either. I have never heard of it and we have two AES methods to choose from

Same result, and internal method is easier to implement, yes.

Richard

OK but at a glance it appears i would not need the zencoder encryption, correct?

  1. is int VS ext exactly the same end result

  2. am i correct that the int method requires less coding (or custom coding) …because its all done by wowza
