Encoder settings Wowza can't stream?

Hi,

Are there any encoder settings that Wowza doesn’t allow for streaming?

My encoders/cameras usually trasmits video using H.264, high-profile, video resolution greater than 720p.

However Wowza kept connecting/disconnecting RTSP/RTP when content files were made for those things.

But it worked fine with videos having base-line profile and lower level.

The link below recommends video encoding with base-line profile and level 2.1. Does that mean settings

higher or more complex encoding will not be supported by Wowza?

I have already read following links. One thing I can suspect is bad SDPs/incorrect level-id which are not likely in my case…

Regards,

This sounds like you are exceeding your bandwidth between encoder and Wowza.

That’s great news! Thanks for the update and glad you got this sorted.

No. I connected only few of them just testing purpose.

I found that a camera repeating connection/disconnection had no sprop string in SDP.

It’s now all ok.

Thanks.
