I noticed some poor stream performance on a c3.2xlarge ec2 instance from a wowza pre-built ami (ami-f6a5789e). I did a quick speedtest and upload speed never went above 3.5Mbit/s. I test on multiple speedtest servers. I started another instance with the same configuration but in another availability zone and got the same results. However, when I start a vanilla Amazon Linux AMI or a Wowza AWS Marketplace AMI upload speed is 50-150Mbit/s (depending on which speedtest server I use). Has anyone else experienced this issue? Could something be misconfigured in the pre-built ami?
Hi there.
I doubt there is any influence on the prebuilt ami side that is keeping this down.
Maybe someone with more experience will have more to suggest on this issue.
