DVR + ABR + + Live Streaming + Jwplayer 6. Error #1009

Hi

ABR + Jwplayer 6 + Live streaming Work OK ! … My code:

DVR + Jwplayer 6 + Live Streaming Work OK ! … My code:

But When I try to stream DVR + ABR on Jw PLayer 6 I got Error #1009 … My code:

If I put this address directly in to my iPhone (http://wowza-ip-address:1935/application/smil:mystream.smil/playlist.m3u8?DVR) works fine!!

So the URL is valid … right ?? May be JwPlayer 6 is not compatible with DVR + ABR ??

Hi

Certainly, as you’ve observed, the single stream is supported, confirmed here.

But it is not clear if ABR is supported for nDVR playback. It doesn’t appear to be mentioned anywhere on the JW Player website.,

I would check there to see if it is possible now, and if not when.

We now understand that DVR playback is only supported with the Enterprise (ads) license for JW Player 6. What license are you using?

You do need the Enterprise (or Ad) version of JW Player for DVR playback. Make sure you are using that. You can test DVR playback with the DVR example player in the examples folder where Wowza is installed.
