Crossdomain.xml on 1935 not working

Hello everyone.

I’m having a little trouble with wowza crossdomain.xml on port 1935. It simply does not work, and removing it from the HTTPProviders list on Vhost.xml does absolutely nothing. I even made a new HTTPProvider with “crossdomain.xml” as its requestFilters, but it is not being called. It looks like before hitting any HTTPProvider on this list, wowza has a hidden crossdomain filter. Can anyone help with this?

Hi,

Did you ensure that your crossdomain HTTP Provider came before the “*” catchall RequestFilter? If it’s after that then it won’t get called. What do you see when you enter http://[wowza-ip]:1935/crossdomain.xml? Also please explain the issues you are having related to crossdomain - are you seeing fetch failures in your player?
