Crestron DMC-STRO and Wowza Streaming Cloud

Hello all,

I am fairly new to streaming overall. I’m trying to stream with a Crestron streaming out card and the streaming cloud. This encoder uses RTSP protocol and due to my university’s firewall restriction I need to use the push method. I’ve created a new livestream and I believe I have entered / parsed all of the information (entry point and authentication) correctly to the encoder but I’m still not able to connect properly to the streaming cloud. I’m able to view the stream off VLC so I know the encoder is functional. Has anyone had any luck with this? Thank you in advance.

For RTSP and Cloud, you will need to use the method. See the note here mentioned in the article link above:

IP Camera - Wowza Streaming Cloud can pull encoded video from any H.264 IP camera over Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP). Provide the IP camera’s Source URL. Consult the camera’s documentation for source URL syntax.
