hello
I install Wowza Streaming Engine 4.0 Trial locally on Windows 7 to test, but I can not connect. I get the error message: “Could not connect to server: http://localhost:8087” I tried both as localhost:
is that the problem is the port in 8088 or in 8087?
help me
thank you
Hi,
Are you sure that Wowza is started?
Wowza Streaming Engine 4 does not work with the Wowza 3 key and you will have to apply for a new key if this is the case.
To apply for a Wowza Streaming Engine 4 key you can either Get a Developer License or Get a Wowza Streaming Engine Trial
Once you have a valid key, ensure you’re using a Wowza Streaming Engine 4 key in the [Wowza-Install]/conf/Server.license file.
Save the file after editing and start Wowza.
More information on Wowza Streaming Engine 4 can be found in the Upgrade page and Upgrade Guide

Hi,
Have you checked the [Wowza-Install]/conf/Server.license file to confirm that your Wowza 4 key is within?
Ensure Wowza Streaming Engine is started using theStart Server Guide.
Ensure Wowza Streaming Engine Manager is started using the Start Manager Guide
If you’re not using localhost to access Wowza Streaming Engine Manager please see the White-list configuration guide.
