Constant Bitrate(CBR) settings in wowza

Hi all,

I am trying figure out the CBR settings in wowza. I am publishing a HLS stream with 10Mbps but I see the output as 14Mbps (variable). Is there any parameter/property to set this field?

Hello there and welcome to the Wowza support forum.

As far as I am aware there is no way to ensure CBR other than setting it up at the encoder.

you could take a look at this forum post and try the suggestions, but the results are inconclusive.
