Configuring Wowza media server to use external HLS encoder...

My company is working on setting up Wowza media servers to be used for HLS streaming of “live” audio and video streams.

I am trying to find out if it’s possible to configure the Wowza media server to use “external” HLS encoder (HLS segment file creation software)… and if so, how to configure it?

Anyone know if this can be done, and (if so) where I can find documentation on how to do this?
