Hi,
We are being asked to integrate closed captioning into our live streams. I want to see if you or anyone out there has any good CC vendors that they recommend?
Based on what I can tell, we would hook this outside vendor into our engine but I wanted to find a good vendor that Wowza recommends or other users are using and happy with.

Hi Rob, I’m not entirely sure of recommendations from Wowza as we work with so many different vendors, but I do know we have a lot of customers using Vitac.
That’s not to say they are the best, but that’s one that comes to mind I’ve heard mentioned a lot. If you needed any custom work done with it, I know Wowza Pro Serv has some modules they can help integrate for ingesting their direct output, but that’s only if you needed to take it to that level.

Hi Rob, are you looking for automated (AI) captioning or manual captioning?
I’ve worked with several captioning companies over the past years; incl. Ai-Media and US Captioning. We also have experience with direct integration with Speech-To-Text services from Google, IBM, Microsoft, etc. If you tell a little more about the case, I can see if I have more useful info for you.
