Hi,

If you’re wanting to play a live stream but the publisher can’t specify an application name, you can create an application called “defapp” which means when an application isn’t specified it will try to use this application.

You can test this by creating a video on demand application called “defapp” and view sample.mp4 with the following URL in VLC player.

rtsp://[Wowza-IP-Address]:1935/mp4:sample.mp4
