Captions with Stream Publisher

Greetings!

I’m trying to set up closed captions with stream publisher and can’t seem to find any information on how I might do that. I’ve got a SMIL file that generates the livestream from a playlist of files on “Application1”, then sends that via RTMP to “Application2” where it gets transcoded and HLSified.

Is there a way I can get closed captions inserted somewhere in the stream?

@Stephen Hudgins, where are your closed captions - embedded in the MP4 or in a separate file (e.g. WebVTT, TTML, SRT)? There’s some useful information in these articles:

If you have the captions in a separate file, then you may need to do some customization.
