Can't connect using port 1935

I installed wowza server on Windows 2008 R2 SP1 x64, running with IIS server and with WMS.

Problem is that I can’t access localhost:1935 nor [wowza-server-ip]:1935, none of the installed examples can connect to this port.

After about 3-4 minutes I get this in my webpage Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): The connection was reset.

This is odd, because I installed this on my local PC windows 7 running with IIS server and I can connect to my localhost:1935.

I want to know in witch cases I couldn’t connect to server?

Hi

You may be behind a firewall, you’ll have to check your local machine.

If IIS is using port 1935 or another service on that machine you wont be able to access it.

Can you confirm Wowza is configured to use port 1935 and not port 80?
