Hi everyone, I have a problem when streaming AAC files via WOWZA.
When I tried the links below:
rtmp://IP:1935/vod/mp4:new.aac
http://IP:1935/vod/mp4:new.aac/playlist.m3u8
The server just showed “WARN server comment new.aac MediaReaderH264.open[2]: java.lang.Exception: QTUtils.parseQTMediaContainer: File is missing ‘moov’ atom.”
What can I do to solve the problem?
Thanks a lot!
Wowza supports AAC, but not .aac or “.acc” container. You can put AAC audio file in a .mp4 container and it should work.
You could:
rtmp://IP:1935/vod/mp4:new.mp4
And see if it just works.

Hi,
Looks like the stream isn’t currently available for testing.
Make sure that your streams have have aac audio. You can examine
the stream URLs in VLC and look at tools->Codec Information to confirm the audio is what it should be.
It may be that the conversion from the original audio to AAC isn’t taking place, perhaps due to a transcoder
compatibility problem with the source audio. Check the source stream codecs and list them here.

You will need to encode the .aac to .mp4 format.
Look at FFmpeg or VLC, they should be able to make the conversion. There are other encoders to choose from as well.

How can we put AAC audio file in a .mp4 container? Please help. Thanks
