Trying to estimate cost for an upcoming livestream…

It’s a 48hr nonstop performance. It will be shown by 10 venues on screens 2mx1m. So 480 hours there.

Also individuals will dip in and out. Let’s say 1000 people for 1 hour each.

Our connection will be around 2-5mbps upload speed so I expect to stream at 1280x720 around 1500kbps to try to deliver best quality for the larger screens.

Is there a cost calculator on the Wowza site?

You should be able to calculate this using one of the many online streaming calculators available, for example this one. You can see what data usage/bandwidth is available for our various tiers on this page. How that translates to users is obviously dependent on the type of stream delivered and other variables.
