I am trying to use bwcheck on windows 8 as a client but it is now working.
Install the bandwidth checker client:
On Windows® operating systems, right-click install.bat, and then select Run as administrator.

I don’t think the install.bat does anything on the client. If you continue with steps 2 and 3, it should work.
Do make sure that you restarted the server though after installing the bwchecker module there, as the module, and client side, will not work until you do that.
