Audio Streaming duration different Issue

We are using Wowza Streaming Engine for previewing MP3 files. However, there is an approximately 3-second difference between the duration obtained from mediaInfo and the duration displayed after conversion, with the converted duration being approximately 3 seconds longer. After researching, we understand that HLS conversion involves segmentation, and overlapping intervals may occur, potentially causing an increase in duration for smoother transitions between segments.

Conversely, when comparing the duration obtained from mediaInfo and the converted duration, there is an approximately 1-second difference, with the converted duration being approximately 1 second shorter. Notably, the difference lies in the frame rate, with a frame rate of 38.281 resulting in an increased converted length and a frame rate of 41.667 causing a decrease.

Therefore, I would like to understand the impact of audio frame rate during HLS streaming of MP3 files and the reasons behind the duration either lengthening or shortening compared to the original.
